braddl S.à r.l. is the controller for personal data processed on braddl.lu. This notice explains what the site processes and why.
The demos
When you use the Speech-to-Text or Text-to-Speech demo, the audio you record or upload and the text you type are sent to our servers in Luxembourg to produce a transcript or an audio file. We process them only to return that result to you. Demo audio and text are not used to train our models and are not shared with anyone.
Technical data
Our servers keep standard access logs, such as your IP address, the time of the request and the page requested, to keep the site secure. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.
Contact
If you email or call us, we keep your message for as long as we need it to answer you.
braddl Notes and your calendar
braddl Notes runs at notes.braddl.lu. If you connect your Google or Microsoft calendar there, braddl Notes reads your upcoming meetings, and only these fields: the title, the date and time, the attendees' names and email addresses, and the link to join. It uses them to list your meetings, to let you choose which ones braddl Notes joins, and, for a meeting it joined, to name the meeting and its participants correctly in the summary. The access is read-only: braddl Notes cannot create, change or delete anything in your calendar. We read the calendar again periodically, so that your list of meetings stays up to date. We use calendar data for nothing else: it is not used to train any model, not shared with anyone and not sold. You can withdraw the access at any time on your profile page; we then revoke it with your provider and destroy the credential. Calendar entries we still hold are deleted on request at moien@braddl.lu.
How we protect calendar data
Calendar data, and the credential your calendar provider issues us, are stored only on our servers in Luxembourg, on encrypted disks. The credential is encrypted a second time, with AES-256, under a key kept apart from the database, so a copy of the database alone opens no one's calendar. Every connection that carries calendar data is encrypted: TLS between your browser, our servers and your calendar provider, and an encrypted private network between our own servers. Administrative access to these servers is limited to braddl's founding team, each with a personal key; SSH login by password is disabled.
Calendar data and AI
The summaries are written by an AI model that braddl hosts on its own servers in Luxembourg. Calendar data never goes to any other AI service and is never used to train or improve any AI model.
